JUST this second arrived home from the Crete Taverna - food and service were fantastic - would recommend to anyone.

We have dined here many times and also invited friends to join us.The food is delicious service is great and great value for money. Our friends have had a 50th birthday here and also a wedding reception. Excellent well recommended.

We've been going to this lovely Greek/Cretan Taverna for a few years now and always enjoyed it! Food always tastes so delicious, lovely atmosphere and very friendly staff. Love the place and will keep on going there.

This is one of the best Greek restaurants I've been to in a long time, the food is fresh and tasty, the meat always cooked to perfection the salads light and refreshing, as you'd expect in a good quality Greek Restaurant. The wine and beer authentic and excellent value - as is the food. The atmosphere is charming and relaxed, the service is of a very high standard. A must visit.

We have been going to this restaurant regularly over the years and have never been disappointed by the standard of the food or the service. The atmosphere is always brilliant and you are always guaranteed a very warm welcome (not always a table though if you don't book at the weekend). We have eaten in many Greek restaurants and are still waiting to find one in this country that can beat the Crete Taverna!
